Emmanuel Macron got a new official car. The French president arrived at the Bastille Day parade in the biggest new Renault, called the Rafale. The car is of class D and will appear on the domestic market very soon.
Emmanuel Macron's presidential car is distinguished by a special blue color and an interesting coloring of the radiator grille in the colors of the French flag. In addition, 20-inch wheels with an original design are installed on the presidential car.
The car also has all the warning lights and flag on the fender that are typical of a presidential car. Apparently Emmanuel Macron's car is armored. The salon of the presidential Renault Rafale was not shown.
It is not known what unit the presidential coupe-shaped crossover has. Otherwise, as standard, the new Renault Rafale is available in two hybrid versions - with front-wheel drive and 200 horsepower and with 300 horsepower and four-wheel drive.
This is far from the first Renault used by a French president. The brand has been supplying luxury cars to the presidential garage since 1920, when Paul Deschanel received a Renault 40CV cabriolet.
It is worth noting that Emmanuel Macron previously used a Renault Vel Satis and an Espace, although before he got into the Rafale, he drove a crossover from another French brand - the DS 7.
