Tesla electric car sales in France and Sweden fell to their lowest level since 2021. The company's share of the French market fell to 1.63%, while BYD increased its presence to 3.19%. This is reported by Reuters.
In March, the company registered 3,157 cars sold in France, which is a decrease of 36.83% year-on-year. In Sweden, Tesla sold only 911 cars, which is 63.9% less than the same period last year.
In total, the automaker sold 6,693 and 1,929 electric cars in France and Sweden, respectively, in the first quarter. The company's share of the French market fell to 1.63%, while China's BYD increased its presence to 3.19%.
