Renault has unveiled its first Heritage Spirit Scrambler motorcycle at the Paris Motor Show. In total, only 10 such electric bicycles will be produced at a price of 26,900 euros.
Renault's first electric motorcycle was created in collaboration with Ateliers HeritageBike. Its design is based on the style of motorcycles from the 1960s.
In addition, the developers were inspired by the famous Renault 4 from 1961. It is not surprising that the electric motorcycle was exhibited at the stand together with the successor of this model - the Renault 4 E-Tech electric crossover.
Heritage Spirit Scrambler is based on a steel frame and the bike's fairings are made of composite materials. The engine has a power of 9.1 hp. (7 kW) and accelerates the electric bicycle weighing 137 kg to 99 km/h.
The battery has a capacity of 4.8 kWh and provides a range of 110 km. Renault's electric bike also gets a beefed-up suspension with 85mm of travel and 17-inch off-road tires. Braking is handled by 320 mm rear and 245 mm front Brembo disc brakes. See it in motion too.
