The CyberX crossover from MG debuted in Shanghai. The British-Chinese brand presented another model from the Cyber series. For now, this is just a prototype: the interior design and technical specifications are kept secret, but the car impressed with an unusual design by Josef Kaban - with hidden headlights.
The CyberX has a minimalist "square" body with short overhangs, impressive ground clearance, a high shoulder line and two-tone mirror housings. The front hood includes hidden headlights, but there are also modern LED strips along the entire width of the body - the CyberX has them both front and rear.

The crossover's exterior was designed by Josef Kaban, who, as we've mentioned, has previously worked for Audi, Skoda, Bugatti, BMW, Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen, and also created the exterior of the Bugatti Veyron. In an interview with Autocar, he noted that the pop-up headlights are a nod to the Ferrari Testarossa.
The concept is 4.3 meters long. MG did not reveal any other details, except to say that the connected services for the CyberX are being developed in conjunction with Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo.

As for the “technology“, insiders predict that the crossover will have SAIC's E3 platform, developed specifically for electric vehicles. If so, the new model will be a pure electric vehicle and may feature Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology with the integration of the traction battery into the power structure to increase rigidity.
