The resource iSeeCars made an interesting study about the loyalty of owners to their cars. It also determined which cars remained in the same hands the longest and were not resold. Its details were published on the iSeeCars website.
The study analyzed data on 929,000 vehicles in the US manufactured between 1981 and 2009 and sold in 2024. Experts determine the percentage of cars of a given model that remain with one owner for 15 years or more.
It turns out that most often the owners do not want to part with Japanese cars. 12 out of 13 models in the ranking represent the Land of the Rising Sun, and the largest among them is Toyota - with as many as seven models.
