Toyota presented an updated version of the compact crossover Corolla Cross 2025 model year. The main feature of the innovation is the exclusive body color Soul Red Crystal, which can be selected for the gasoline versions LE and XLE, as well as for the hybrid modifications SE and XSE.
There are minor differences, however, in other exterior elements: the L and S versions get matte black mirror housings and a shark fin antenna, while for the other trim levels these elements are done in glossy piano black lacquer. The manufacturer is also revising the location of the AWD and HEV name badges on the car body.
The updated Corolla Cross is available in two power options. The gasoline version is equipped with a two-liter engine with a capacity of 169 horsepower, which works with a continuously variable transmission. Customers can choose between front and all-wheel drive, with the all-wheel drive version able to redistribute up to 50% of torque to the rear axle.
The hybrid version is equipped with all-wheel drive and combines a two-liter gasoline engine with three electric motors. The system power of this power tract is 196 horsepower, which allows you to accelerate to 96 km/h in 8 seconds. At the same time, fuel consumption is only 5.6 liters per 100 km in a combined cycle. The lithium-ion battery installed under the rear seats does not affect the volume of the luggage compartment.
The SUV can tow a trailer weighing up to 700 kg. All models are equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional options include a power tailgate, dual-zone climate control, a power sunroof, and a premium nine-speaker JBL audio system. The price of the petrol version starts from €22,715, while the hybrid version will cost from €26,835.
