The new DS N°8 is entering the European market. The original and struggling to break into the premium car segment, the electric car is available for order at prices from 59,200 to 74,600 euros. This is reported on the website of the Stellantis concern.
We will recall that the electric car DS N°8 is a 4.82-meter cross-fastback on the Peugeot 3008 platform and has a rather unusual design. It has an elongated silhouette with an arched roof. The matrix headlights are complemented by additional daytime running lights, and the front lighting imitates a radiator grille.
The interior of the DS N°8 is no less original. The electric car receives a non-standard four-spoke steering wheel, and two displays are mounted on the front panel. ChatGPT is built into the new multimedia system. The Nappa leather trim is spectacularly decorated with gold accents, and the color of the backlight can be changed.
The basic equipment of the DS N°8 Pallas includes keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a camera, parking sensors and navigation. The Etoile version adds all-round cameras and an electric tailgate.
The DS N°8 electric car will be available in front-wheel drive versions with 230 and 245 hp, as well as in a four-wheel drive version with 350 hp. The Overboost function allows you to briefly increase the power to 260, 280 and 375 hp respectively.
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes from 5.4 to 7.8 seconds, and the maximum speed of all DS N°8 is limited to 190 km/h. There is a choice of two batteries - 74 and 97 kWh, and the range is from 550 to 750 km. Fast charging to 80% takes 27 minutes.
