Volkswagen has announced the start of production of the new Teramont Pro. This will be the first car with the fifth generation EA888 engine. This model will be distinguished, in addition to its dimensions and new ICE, by many modern technologies and powerful characteristics.
The new EA888 2.0T engine is available in two power options - 213 and 272 horsepower, with the maximum torque of the top version reaching 400 Nm. The fuel injection system is pressurized to 500 bar.
All this provides high thermal efficiency and impressive dynamic characteristics. Acceleration from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour takes 7.6 seconds, which is an excellent achievement for such a huge car.
In terms of ecology, the new Teramont Pro also gives excellent results, consuming only 8.35 liters of fuel per 100 km and reducing CO2 emissions by 3.2 g/km. The company says that these characteristics guarantee it the title of "king" among its competitors in terms of performance and environmental friendliness.
The crossover's design impresses with modern and highly updated front and rear light clusters, which give it a sportier look, while some elements from its predecessors make the car recognizable.
The dimensions are also impressive - 5,158 mm in length and 1,991 mm in width, which increases the space inside the car for the convenience of passengers. Compared to the previous version, the length has increased by 106 mm.
The official launch of the Teramont Pro is expected in the first quarter of this year, with sales starting in China. It is not yet clear in which other markets this huge all-terrain vehicle will be sold.
