Volkswagen is expanding its model range with new powerful versions. Sharpened modifications will soon appear in the VW Passat B9 and Tiguan, as well as in the new Tayron. This is reported on the website of the German automaker.
The Volkswagen Passat station wagon, as well as the Tiguan and Tayron crossovers, receive a 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged gasoline engine from the VW Golf GTI. The four-cylinder engine develops a power of 265 hp and has 400 Nm of torque.
All three models are equipped with a 7-speed DSG robot and 4Motion all-wheel drive. Of course, the new Volkswagens are faster. In addition, the cars can tow a trailer weighing up to 2.5 tons.
VW Passat 2.0 TSI 4Motion - 5.8 seconds to 100 km/h, top speed 250 km/h, average fuel consumption 8.4 l/100 km;

The powerful VWs will soon start selling in Europe. The price of the Volkswagen Tiguan will be 57,995 euros, the VW Tayron - 59,755 euros, and the VW Passat - 62,990 euros.
