The "Moskvich" Automobile Plant has increased the prices of cars from 2025 due to indexation related to market conditions. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Chinese Cars“ with reference to the company's press service, noting that the decision was due to fluctuations in the ruble exchange rate, currency risks and changes in the credit policy of Chinese suppliers.
“The indexation of prices in 2025 is dictated by the current economic situation. The transition to full-cycle production allowed us to form a more balanced pricing strategy“, the statement said.
The increase in prices for Moskvich cars became known on February 25. The crossover has become more expensive by 65 to 97 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration, which is equivalent to 720 - 1,070 euros. The Moskvich 6 liftback is more expensive by 77 thousand rubles (850 euros) in all trim levels. The basic version of the Moskvich 3 now costs at least 1.76 million rubles (19,500 euros). The Moskvich 6 is ahead by 2.28 million rubles (25,300 euros). The prices of the electric car Moskvich 3e have not changed.
