The American organization JD Power conducted a survey among electric car owners. Its task was to determine how satisfied they are with their cars and which models best meet the expectations of buyers. The results of the survey are published on the JD Power website.
The survey was conducted among 6,164 electric car owners from 2024 and 2025. They were asked to evaluate the range, charging speed, handling, quality, reliability, safety, operating costs and a number of other parameters.
New electric vehicles were rated on a 1,000-point scale. The average score is 725 points for mass models and 756 for premium cars.

Owners value BMW electric cars the most. The BMW iX crossover scored 790 points, and the i4 sedan - 783. These models are leaders in the premium segment, and the third place is taken by the Rivian R1S (770 points).
In the mass segment, the best electric car is the Hyundai Ioniq 6 (751 points). Second place goes to KIA EV6 (743 points), and third is Chevrolet Equinox EV (737).
