Every car starts to lose value as soon as it leaves the showroom, but there are cars that become illiquid much faster than others. The most illiquid models were listed by experts from the iSeeCars portal.
The Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover was recognized as the most illiquid car. Over five years of operation, it loses 72.2% of its original value, or $51,953.
Next is the top sedan BMW 7 Series, which depreciates by 67.1% or $65,249 over five years. In third place is the Tesla Model S (-65.2% of the original price or $52,165).
The Japanese premium SUV Infiniti QX80 has become cheaper by 65% over five years. Fifth place in the ranking is taken by the sedan Maserati Ghibli (-64.7% or $70,874 from the original price).
