An official delegation of the Parliament of Indonesia visited the randang-padang factory of “Bella Bulgaria” and the company's logistics base in Plovdiv on Tuesday.
The Bulgarian food company is a partner of the country in its program for the promotion of Indonesian products on European markets.
„Bulgaria has a very big potential, it has a free economic zone, logistics facilities and factories to which we already have access,” said after the official visit H.P. Iwan Bogananta – ambassador of Indonesia in Bulgaria, Albania and North Macedonia.
He expressed hope that the Indonesian government will support and implement the program initiated by the embassy in Bulgaria after his arrival in the country to create a hub for the distribution of Indonesian products in European markets.
The head of the Indonesian delegation, Utut Adianton, highly appreciated the dynamic work of Ambassador Iwan Bogananta for strengthening the image of Indonesia and for the development of national export products internationally.
In his words, the parliament will encourage the government to support future plans to develop the production of randang-padang and other Indonesian foods on the world and European markets through Bulgaria.
„We saw directly at the site of the factory, they are very well prepared with proper infrastructure and most importantly they are part of the European Union,“ said Utut Adianton. According to him, all trade regulations refer to the rules issued by Europe, both in terms of tariffs and in terms of quality, control and standardization, but the Indonesian government should also work to promote the expansion of the randang market in the European region.
