Hungary expects to sign a trade cooperation agreement with the United States within six months, which could help offset the likely adverse effects of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the website www.ot.hu late yesterday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"We are holding talks with the Americans on economic issues that would be beneficial for us. The tariffs will be negative for us, but we are negotiating other economic deals to compensate [for the tariffs]," Orban said in an interview.
