A slight increase in the prices of the main grain commodities on the world stock markets during the past week, the experts of the Sofia Commodity Exchange report (SSB), BTA reported.
The FOB price (FOB - Free On Board - at the border of the exporting country - note ed.) of bread wheat in Chicago rose by 9 dollars to 249 dollars per ton, in France it rose by 6 euros to 219 euros per ton, in Ukraine - by 3 dollars to 206 dollars per ton, and in Russia it remained unchanged at 230 dollars per ton.
The price of US corn was higher by $5 to $200 a tonne. In France, corn became cheaper by 5 euros to 195 euros per ton, and in Russia it did not change and remained at 185 dollars per ton.
Barley in Ukraine added $3 to $183 a tonne for May-June delivery. Rapeseed on the "Euronex" exchange (Euronext) rose 40.75 euros to 481 euros per tonne.
Crude sunflower oil contracts on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange for May-June delivery this week were unchanged at $970 a tonne. Refined sugar for August delivery rose $11.90 to $575.60 a tonne on the London exchange.
On the Sofia Commodity Exchange, the prices of grain goods remain mostly unchanged, exchange experts report. Bread wheat was offered at BGN 388 per ton with delivery to buyer (DAP), and buyers are willing to pay BGN 300 per ton. Forage barley is being sought from 310 to 330 BGN per ton, and offers "sell" for oilseed sunflower are from 780 to 800 BGN per ton. Corn for immediate delivery is available from BGN 330 to BGN 350 per ton.
During the week, the prices of the main foodstuffs of the SSB remained stable at the same level as the initial prices, the experts also report. Oil in bottles is sold at BGN 2.20 per liter, there is also an offer of yellow peas in big bags for one ton at a starting price of BGN 1,200 per ton.
During the week, ferrous metal scrap was sold at BGN 160 per ton, lead scrap - from BGN 700 to BGN 950 per ton, copper scrap - at BGN 9,000 per ton and aluminum scrap - at BGN 1,400 per ton .
