The successes of private space companies should help attract young people in the space sphere.
"To engage the younger generation, it is important not only to live up to past achievements or our wonderful history, but also to set an example here and now. We demonstrate by our own example that it is possible to develop business in this area, it is possible to develop technologies. I hope that our example will motivate many and help people find their place in the space industry”, said Oleg Mansurov, general director of the aerospace holding SR Space.
The role of private companies in the development of space programs is still small, but it will surely grow from year to year. “We are seeing the success of our colleagues who are already successfully launching spacecraft and providing services to provide Earth remote sensing data. This list of services will only increase,”, noted the executive director of SR Space.
SR Space is a private Russian space company established in July 2020. It develops suborbital and orbital launch vehicles of the ultralight and light class, small spacecraft and satellite constellations and provides services including software and hardware maintenance and development of software for calculating launch parameters of launch vehicles and spacecraft.
