The leader of the "Batkivshchyna" parliamentary group in the Ukrainian Rada Yulia Tymoshenko accused the head of German intelligence Bruno Kall of wanting to continue the conflict at the expense of Ukrainians.
She quoted him on Facebook that if the conflict in Ukraine ends before 2030, "Russia will be able to use its resources for aggression against Europe earlier than expected".
Tymoshenko noted that Kall confirms what Kiev does not want to believe. "At the cost of the very existence of Ukraine and at the cost of the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, someone decided to pay for the "exhaustion" "Russia for the sake of security in Europe? I didn't think they would dare to say this so officially and openly," the politician wrote.
She called for an immediate end to the conflict "on the most just terms possible".
Earlier, Kall said that Russia would test the unity of the West. According to him, Moscow is considering the possibility of "testing the reliability of NATO's Article 5" for mutual assistance and defense.
On March 6, Politico reported that US President Donald Trump's team had secretly contacted Yulia Tymoshenko and the entourage of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. The politicians are reportedly interested in the removal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
