The Zewa brand for cleaning and hygiene products in Russia will change its name to Zemma. The full transition to the new brand will be completed in 2026, the press service of the company "Evolution of Comfort" ("EvoCom") told TASS.
„From 2026, Zewa brand products will be produced under a new name - Zemma. The change of the brand name is associated with the departure of the international company Essity from the Russian market. The transition will take place in stages: from March 2025. "The packaging in the current design with the announcement of the new brand will begin to appear on the shelves, and the full transition to the new brand will be completed in 2026," the press service explained.
The company is currently developing a packaging design for the new brand, which will take into account the positioning, brand values and preferences of the Russian public. The transition to a new packaging design with a new name will begin in the summer of next year.
“The name change will not affect the quality of the products in any way - it will remain at the highest level. We also plan to expand our line with new products and modernize the production of consumer paper“, said the CEO of the company “EvoCom“. Artem Lebedev, whose words were quoted by the press service.
The Swedish company Essity (owner of the brands Zewa, Libresse, Tork, Tena) announced in July 2023 that it had completed the sale of its business in the Russian Federation and had left the Russian market. The company Essity continued to produce products in Russia - In June 2024, it announced that it was changing its name to Evolution of Comfort.
