The situation from the previous parliament, when we supported Raya Nazaryan, has nothing in common with the current one. Today we proposed a very elegant way to avoid blocking the work of the parliament (to elect the oldest deputy Silvi Kirilov as the chairman of the National Assembly - note ed.). Otherwise, people will really have the right to say - those in the parliament are not doing any work.

"The first political force must answer the question what are the chances of a regular cabinet. If it comes to any government, whatever it may be, it must implement such a program as is approved by all the parties supporting it. If there is going to be a government, there must first be a clear program and priorities. Only after that, there will have to be talks about support and who will be prime minister. We have been repeating this for two years and this is the working option. The top two political forces do not have a majority of 121 votes and must seek support, not set the tone for a song. We are ready to compromise in order to have a regular cabinet, but not at any price. There is no way we can support this bacchanalia in finance and spend more money from the state than it earns. This means that Asen Vassilev cannot be finance minister. The same applies to Boyko Borisov - there is no way he can be prime minister," Yordanov was categorical.
"We have long stated that we will not talk to DPS - A new beginning. We will not have any contact with them at any level. I am not interested in the rally of DPS - New beginning. They have the right to protest. We keep our word and our behavior is not based on rallies and protests. We will not talk to DPS - New beginning. We expect the other parties to be sensible and to elect the oldest deputy as the chairman of the National Assembly. This way we will unblock the parliament and it will be able to function", concluded Toshko Yordanov.
