According to Captain Vasil Danov of the Atlantic Council, the Russian Federation has started to change its nuclear doctrine too often.
"There are always real risks involved. It is time for Ukraine to regain its nuclear status. Ukrainian industry has the opportunity to produce nuclear munitions within 2-3 weeks. In this way, without threatening anyone, Ukraine will be able to warn its adversary that in the case of the use of tactical nuclear weapons by the Russian side, it will be able to respond, he added.
„Biden's decision to allow Ukraine to use American weapons represents a serious reversal in the previous policy and in relation to the American administration,”, said Naydenov. According to him, the newly elected US President Donald Trump will focus on achieving peace and not on liberating territories. “As Zelensky says, for this diplomacy to be successful, it must go hand in hand with force. What Ukraine needs is not to be alone, to have partners and allies among Western countries, as well as unequivocal guarantees for its security, Naydenov also pointed out.
„Initial overtures from both Zelensky and the as-yet-unconstructed Trump administration for negotiations signaled Russian troops to advance even harder on Ukraine's eastern front, Danov added.
According to him, the Russian side has shown that before sitting at the negotiating table, it will try to “bite” maximum part of the Ukrainian territory.
„Russia uses verbal threats so often that they have become somewhat devalued. It can be expected that they will weigh the scales in the direction of sending instructors from Western countries to the territory of Ukraine. Until now, the training was carried out outside the territory of the country”, Naydenov also explained.
„The beatings began as soon as permission was obtained for Ukraine, and in fact the hand of the beaten man was untied. They were forced to fight with one hand tied. Now they can defend themselves by striking military targets”, analyst Chavdar Stefanov commented to bTV.
In his words, Russia's nuclear doctrine is not related to these actions.

Point 18 was mainly changed – where it is mentioned that a nuclear weapon could be used in the event of an attack by a non-nuclear state – with the support of a nuclear state. „Without underestimating that there is still a strengthening of nuclear weapons capabilities, it has a rather symbolic meaning,”, he noted.

„Ukraine is now deciding where to strike, but Russia will not respond with a tactical nuclear weapon,”, the journalist believes. According to him, such will never be used in Ukraine.
According to him, Biden's decision was late, as well as that of the European countries, who thought that Russia could be brought into the global world orbit with trade and what not. And Europe has disarmed.
