The movement in the area of the Danube Bridge is hampered due to a protest under the title "Let's protect our children - motorcade and blockade of the Danube Bridge".
The protesters are dissatisfied with the poor condition of the roads, the systematic air pollution in Ruse and the lack of solutions for the region.
The specific demands are for the construction of the Ruse-Tarnovo highway, for the safety of the Ruse-Byala road, for clean air with a full inspection of pollutants and for the withdrawal of their complex permits.
The protest began as a motorcade that passed through the main boulevards of Ruse and stopped at the roundabout before the Danube bridge.
The protesters have announced that they will gather every Saturday until they see real action from the institutions responsible for road infrastructure and ecology.
