I hope for everyone's sense. With these words, GERB leader Boyko Borisov answered a question about what he expects from the next session of the 51st Parliament, at which a new attempt will be made to elect a chairman.
He commented on the division between PP and DB on the issue, as DB announced that they would vote "abstain" for the election of the oldest MP as speaker of the parliament, Silvi Kirilov, and the PP will support him.
"I avoid commenting on other parties, but I see their actions as quite chaotic. One day they invite "Revival", then they refuse to go on a date. One day they will support their candidate, the next they will withdraw. One day they want a government, a leadership meeting with GERB, but without Borisov. I just can't get it. There was a good poem of the time "The first fell in blood, the last became first", this is what they want to rearrange in this parliament right now. It is not at all about the election of a president, a working parliament, because you yourselves, we ourselves - we all said - these elections are illegitimate. Complaints, complaints, complaints. It is disputed in the Constitutional Court and at the same time - to make the parliament work. But if the SC's decision is the opposite of what we think, what do we do? That is why, when talking, everyone should measure their words", Borisov is categorical.
" 18 billion is the hole in the budget, a real budget cannot be made, loans must be taken again. I care about the aridity, the infrastructure, I care about who will pay the farmers, I care about everything that people care about."
According to Borisov, the way out of the political crisis is "everyone to comply with the results of the elections" and with the fact that GERB is the first political force.
According to the GERB leader, a possible new caretaker government will once again bear the negatives of the policies of the last 4 years.
"The deputies know about 18 bln. a hole in the budget, everyone knows there will be cuts and everyone is waiting for some caretaker government to take the brunt of the chaos and cacophony they have created for 4 years again. Don't you think that President Radev is being made a party? I think the exact opposite. It will immediately hit everything here in the parliament, with 18 billion. debt, with already real protests actions. Real protests by policemen, doctors, soldiers, teachers, today taxi drivers.
