At an open meeting, KEVR will discuss the proposals of over 30 local water supply operators for price increases on the water since the New Year, BNT reported.
Preliminary estimates show that the average increase will be 2.6%.
The accounts are based on the 5-year business plans of the water companies.
The largest increase in water will be in Sliven - by over 19%.
In more than 12 cities in the country, after the latest increase, the price of water with VAT will exceed BGN 5. And in Razgrad and Silistra over 6 BGN per cubic meter.
There will be a discount in some areas. The largest will be in Dobrich - over 15% and in Pazardzhik with over 12 percent.
