Yanaki Stoilov: Next week, the CEC will deliver to the Central Committee the materials from the elections - 1

Next week, the CEC will deliver to the Central Committee the materials from the elections. It stated in “ Ever since the day" the constitutionalist prof. Yanaki Stoilov, who is the reporter in the election cashing case. He indicated that 10-12 expert groups will process them by January 10.

The constitutionalist also explained what will be the subject of the investigation in the election cashing case, BNT summarized.

"The organization and activity is very complex. Next week, the CEC will deliver to the Supreme Court the materials from these sections, and for each one of them, those papers that come to the court must be described and distributed. We will form about 10-12 expert groups to which we will assign the tasks. This means, according to various signs, the collected sections, which are indicated by electoral districts, to check the conformity of the submitted paper ballots and the machines with those entered in the protocols and whether there is a deviation in the submitted results. Also to check the flash memory of the voting devices with the reflected vote, whether the protocols were drawn up in the legal way", explained the constitutionalist prof. Yanaki Stoilov.

He indicated that a full or partial check will be done in more than 2,200 sectional election commissions, which is 17% of all. He also explained why it is logical to combine the cases for cashing in the elections.

"The subject matter of all these five cases partially coincides. It is the practice of the court that when the matter is substantially related to the same issues, it leads to consolidation. I think this is also the rational thing in this situation," said Yanaki Stoilov.

Regarding the video recordings that show discrepancies in the election results, Yanaki Stoilov explained that the SC works only with written evidence.
