A protest in Stamboliyski was held early this morning by workers at one of the largest paper factories in the city, because they have been unemployed since the New Year, bTV reported.
The factory management announced to unions that it was ceasing operations.
The workers gathered early in the morning in front of the factory and traveled to the capital, where they will protest in front of the Council of Ministers, demanding that the state intervene.
The closure of the factory became clear a month ago, after there had been a major fire there earlier.
