Even if he resigns, we will no longer support Vasil Terziev in new elections!
This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by the leader of "Save Sofia" Boris Bonev and explained:
"If he had done it immediately, we would certainly have supported him! But at this stage, when we saw that he is a person who is reneging on his commitments, he is not fulfilling the coalition program".
I can't understand why Vasil Terziev broke up the coalition and allowed "Save Sofia" to leave her, and the PP to publicly declare itself against the competition for the chief architect of Sofia, just to appoint Bogdana Panayotova, he said:
"She was a completely unknown person (for the PP-DB-SS coalition), who was not there during the election campaign in Sofia, she appeared out of nowhere. All three parties found out from the media when she was appointed as the acting chief architect. Let's say she was some undisputed expert with architectural awards and an undisputed name in the architectural community, a person with enormous reputation and experience, but nothing like that". "The Supreme Administrative Court, on which the outcome of Vasil Terziev's case for the mayoral elections depends, is controlled, it is something of a public secret that it is controlled by Delyan Peevski. Bogdana Panayotova's company was a supervisor and consultant on those horrific projects for the repair of dams for 500 million leva by DKK, which ended with some empty goals and embezzled money, which was revealed by Kiril Petkov, when he was still the acting Minister of Economy. Separately, it was involved in the construction of the expressway between Botevgrad and Vidin, where people from the so-called "Hemus Gate" were involved. She was a supervisor of construction projects carried out by companies associated with Delyan Peevski. And she was the chief architect of Haskovo - a region that we all know which party she belongs to in terms of political interest". The former chief architect Zdravko Zdravkov was fired on the day the Supreme Administrative Court of First Instance returned the case for the mayoral elections in Sofia: "If they are holding Terziev hostage, why didn't he resign, run for new elections and win them, in order to restart both his political career and the chance for Sofia not to be held hostage by these dark interests. Why doesn't he do that? That's the question!".
According to Bonev, there is a connection between Terziev's decision to appoint Panayotova as the chief architect of Sofia and the case in the Supreme Administrative Court for the election of the capital's mayor:
