The repaired section of the "Danube Bridge" near Ruse is being opened in both directions, BNT reported.
The repairs began in July. According to the schedule from January 8, 2025, the reconstruction of the bridge will continue, with 413 meters of the lane in the direction of Romania being closed.
As before, the major repairs of the Danube Bridge will be carried out without stopping traffic and the facility will not be closed. The site will be worked on daily during daylight hours, depending on weather conditions.
This year, the Danube Bridge turned 70 years old since its commissioning, and no major repairs have been carried out so far.
