Almost all basic food products, fruits and vegetables are rising in price on the stock exchanges in our country, data from this week's bulletin of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets show, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio.
The price of cow's cheese falls by 1.3 percent to 11.58 leva per kilogram, and the price of "Vitosha" type yellow cheese rises by 0.1 percent to 17.39 leva per kilogram. Yogurt (3 and over 3 percent fat content) is down 0.8 percent and is being bought at 1.30 leva for a 400-gram bucket, and fresh milk (3 percent fat content) - by 1.2 percent to 2.38 leva per liter. Cow butter (125-gram package) is up 2.1 percent to 3.07 leva per piece.
The price of chicken meat is down 1.4 percent to 6.38 leva per kilogram, while that of eggs (size M) is up 0.6 percent to 0.35 leva per piece wholesale.
Rice is down 4.6 percent to 3.26 leva per kilogram, and ripe beans - by 1.1 percent and are being traded at 4.28 leva per kilogram. Lentils are up by 1.7 percent and are 4.34 leva per kilogram.
The price of oil is down by 0.8 percent to 3.20 leva per liter, and type 500 flour is up by 5.6 percent to 1.40 leva per kilogram. Sugar is down by 2 percent and is available at 1.92 leva per kilogram.
Among fruits, only oranges are down by 3.3 percent to 1.95 leva per kilogram, and tangerines by 5.9 percent to 2.20 leva per kilogram. Bananas are up 1.2 percent to 2.69 leva per kilogram, lemons - 1.5 percent to 2.29 leva per kilogram, grapefruits - 3.5 percent to 2.40 leva per kilogram, and apples - 3.4 percent to 1.69 leva per kilogram.
Among vegetables, greenhouse tomatoes are down 3.8 percent to 3.59 leva per kilogram, potatoes - 0.3 percent to 1.22 leva per kilogram, and carrots - 2 percent to 1.15 leva per kilogram.
The price of greenhouse cucumbers is up 2.6 percent to 3.12 leva per kilogram, and that of cabbage - 0.6 percent to 1.35 leva per kilogram. Ripe onions are also more expensive - by 4 percent, reaching 1.15 leva per kilogram. Lettuce is up 0.3 percent to 1.15 leva per head, and ripe garlic is up 1.7 percent to 5.76 leva per kilogram.
