The hydropower unit of the Chaira hydroelectric power plant can effectively participate in the energy system. This is an achievement that I think we can be proud of. We have not stopped any of the projects that have happened before us, on the contrary, we are even completing them. It is not from the unfulfilled projects and our full-fledged acceptance into Schengen. It is just that since March 31, the caretaker government has not been in office for only one week, which means that we have a contribution to our land admission into Schengen. This was stated by caretaker prime minister Dimitar Glavchev at the beginning of the regular government meeting.
By mid-January, we expect the fourth criterion for the eurozone to be overcome and I had the opportunity to talk to the EC and ask them for a faster assessment of the convergence report. The path to the eurozone, at least within our mandate, remains open without obstacles, Glavchev emphasized.
