About 80% of companies in our country have given out Christmas bonuses to their workers this year. This is according to a survey by the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria, conducted for bTV.
Of those who have given a bonus, almost all - 93% - have done so in the form of an additional amount of money to salaries.
As in 43% of cases this is an amount over 500 BGN per person. In 28% of companies the bonus is between 300 and 500 BGN.
In 27% - between 100 and 300 BGN, and only in 2% - the amount is under 100 BGN. per person.
And the General Labor Inspectorate (GIT) reminds that work performed during public holidays is paid with a minimum double increase.
If the work is also overtime, an additional 100% increase is due.
