An earthquake has been registered in Southwestern Bulgaria.
According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography, the earthquake was registered this morning. Its epicenter was near the border with the Republic of North Macedonia and 20 km from Petrich. The magnitude is 3.1 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 km, according to the report.
