The first and main task is how to preserve the Bulgarian Socialist Party in this turbulent and transitional time. This was said by Kaloyan Pargov - candidate for chairman of the BSP, to like-minded people in Burgas, with whom they symbolically celebrated Trifon Zarezan. He thanked the people for the warm welcome with bread and a red wine bagel. They mutually wished each other health, success and prosperity – for themselves and their families, for the party, and for the state.
„One of the most important things that I would like to see return to the party is to have a discussion on all important topics – be it expert, be it ideological or programmatic“, Pargov shared.
According to him, what he observes, traveling around the country, is that people say: “What is going on? Nobody tells us anything. We read different things, but we don't know anything concrete. What is happening?“.
“This is unacceptable! I remember the times when we were in government and the party members were the most informed and they, in turn, explained to the others and clarified what was happening, what the line was, what the real picture was“, recalled Pargov.
He stated that BSP, in addition to organizational problems, also has a communication problem inside and outside the party.
According to him, every action and every initiative that the BSP stands behind must be clearly articulated and argued.
“The real corrective is the people on the ground and this corrective must start working again. Only in this way will all party members feel involved in the management decisions“, Kaloyan Pargov pointed out in Burgas.
