"Fiscal hell" - this is how the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance Delyan Dobrev from GERB-SDF commented on his Facebook page on the state of public finances, sharply criticizing "We continue the change", quoted by "Focus".
Here is what Dobrev wrote at a time when disputes are going on between GERB-SDF and PP-DB about the state's money:
The balance sheet after 4 years of change:
1. There are no new highways - none.
2. There are no new bridges - none.
3. There are no investors - those who had them are leaving - example Mondi Stamboliyski.
4. There is no money - inflation has eaten up 1/3 of Bulgarians' savings, prices are ungodly high.
5. There is no political stability - there are so many parties in parliament that the situation is "dog dragging the train".
6. The hole in the budget is so big that it can only be compared to the arrogance of the leaders of change. The treasury is not only empty, but it glows in a blood red like "Greek bankruptcy".
7. There is no trace of financial stability and prudent fiscal policy from 1997 to 2020! We have proven the axiom that consumer loans do not make you rich.
There are no surprises, only those who have woken up in fiscal hell.
