Four Deputy Ministers Appointed  - 1

Four deputy ministers have been appointed by order of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.

Stefan Burdzhev and Stoyan Toshev have been appointed deputy ministers of agriculture and food. Deyan Stratev and Miroslav Marinov have been dismissed from the same position. Stefan Burdzhev holds a master's degree in “International Economic Relations“ at the “Dimitar Tsenov“ University of Svishtov. He has been a member of parliament since October 2024. In the period December 2021 - July 2022, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture. He was also a member of parliament in the 46th National Assembly and the 44th National Assembly. He held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry in the 46th National Assembly. Stoyan Toshev is a forestry engineer. From 2022 to the present, he has been the Executive Director of the Executive Forestry Agency, having held various positions in previous years.

Georgi Sultanov was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture, and Amelia Gesheva was dismissed from the same position. Georgi Sultanov graduated from the AMTII “Prof. A. Diamandiev“ – Plovdiv with the specialties “Musical Pedagogy“ and “Opera Singing“ in the class of Prof. Kalina Zhekova. In 2009, he graduated from the master's degree &ndquo; “Vocal Methodology“. He improved his musical and stage skills with Giuseppe Sabatini, Prof. Ivan Vulpe, Mihail Angelov, Nikolay Sultanov and acting with Petar Slabakov. Georgi Sultanov is the first Bulgarian - an active participant in the International Vocal Academy at the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth – Germany under the leadership of Prof. H. Blaschke, Dietrich Fischer Diskau and Bern Dietrich. He is currently a soloist of the State Opera – Plovdiv. He was a full-time project manager at the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra.

Philip Popov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. Philip Popov graduated from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and specialized in "Public Administration". From 2013 to 2022 he was a member of parliament, deputy chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and member of the Committee for Control over the Security Services.
