Today will be cloudy, BTA reported. In Northeastern Bulgaria, it will snow, which will cover many regions of Northern Bulgaria during the day.
In Southern Bulgaria, precipitation will be from rain, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced.
Snowfall will be intense and significantly greater in Northeastern Bulgaria, and there will be conditions for blizzards and drifts. A weak and moderate northeast wind will blow, bringing cold air. Minimum temperatures in most regions will be between minus 3° and 2°, maximums from 0° in Northeastern Bulgaria to 9°-11° in the Southwest, where there will be temporary breaks in the clouds. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 0°C, the maximum temperature will be around 5°C.
On the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy, with rain, on the northern coast - rain and snow. A moderate northeast wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 3°C and 7°C. The sea water temperature is 6°C-7°C. The sea waves will be 3-4 points.
In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy with snow. A moderate west-southwest wind will blow, on the highest parts the wind will be moderate and strong from the west. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 3°, at 2000 meters - around minus 2°.
During the first days of the new week it will be quite cold. There will also be precipitation, with the cold weather in most of the country it will snow; it will form and remain on a snow cover, most in Central Northern and Eastern Bulgaria, where the precipitation will also be more significant. In Eastern Bulgaria, a moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast and there will be conditions for blizzards and gusts. Temperatures will be almost constant throughout the day, they will gradually decrease and on Tuesday in most of the country they will be from around minus 5°-minus 6° to 2-3° above zero.
