In front of journalists in parliament, the MP from "Vazrazhdane" Tsoncho Ganev stated that at today's hearing in the National Assembly, Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov said that the US had sent a questionnaire to all NATO and European Union countries, mainly related to the countries' readiness to continue sending weapons, at what intensity, novini.bg reported.
The main question is the readiness of each of the countries to send military contingents to Ukraine at a possible later stage, Ganev stated.
In response to a remark by a journalist that this refers to peacekeeping troops, he pointed out that this is not clear, since the Defense Minister has refused to provide clarification on the issue, as well as on what our country's response will be.
Currently, the government does not even want to make a commitment that it will not send any troops, for any reason, requested by anyone, into a military conflict that may escalates at any moment, stressed Tsoncho Ganev.
