Our role as the opposition is to lighten the "ladybugs", the co-chair of "Continuing the Change" threatened

Yesterday we had a conversation with an EC working group. She told us that the PVA will not be renegotiated, it will not be extended. They told us that we have days before we miss these payments. They were surprised that for a year our three anti-corruption laws are sitting on stumps. You will miss nearly 10 billion leva, because three simple laws do not allow you to absorb the second payment. This was stated by the co-chair of "Continuing the Change" Kiril Petkov on the sidelines of the parliament.

Regarding the choice of regulators, Petkov pointed out: "The various parties from the ruling majority propose their candidates for regulators. We systematically see that the different candidates are all Peevski's.

And he gave examples: Rosen Karadimov, proposed by the BSP for chairman of the Competition Commission and Plamen Mladenovski, a proposal by GERB, who is a second cadre loyal to Peevski. "The Competition Commission and the Supreme Administrative Court determine all public procurement in Bulgaria and corruption mostly passes through there", he also said.

"Our role as the opposition is to shed light on the "ladybugs". We will raise the standard of the people we will propose. When their and our candidates are compared, it will be clear that the better candidate is not being chosen," Petkov noted.

We elevated Ivan Stoynev to chairman of the Competition Commission. He was awarded an order from the French state for contribution to competition law. This is the function of whether we have normal prices or not, whether we have cartels or not, he explained.

The PP-DB MP added that there are also candidates who are not related to Peevski. "Tasko Ermenkov is not a Peevski cadre, he is an associate in the State Security", he added.
