Lyubomir Stefanov: A vote on the topic of Corruption seems strategically unjustified and more like a desperate move - 1

Forewarned chronicle! The vote has absolutely no chance of passing". This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by political scientist Lyubomir Stefanov.

A second motion for a vote of no confidence in the government was submitted to the National Assembly. This time the initiator is MECH, and the motion was supported by "Vazrazhdane" and "Velichie". The motive is cited as "failure in anti-corruption policy".
"We risk falling into a situation where the National Assembly once again becomes an arena of accusations, as well as witnessing justice that turns the parliament into a tribunal.

A vote on the topic of "Corruption" sounds like everything and nothing. It seems strategically unjustified and more like a desperate move.

These votes of no confidence should be much more precise and thoughtful at this particular moment. To risk the country being left without a government just when it needs to cross the last bridge to the core of the EU seems to me to be a rather naive and simplistic way of thinking about politics and politics.
Stefanov commented on the behavior of PP-DB.

"PP-DB are beginning to understand that being in the opposition does not mean that you have to behave as if elections are around the corner, as "Vazrazhdane", MECH and "Velichye" do.

The political scientist believes that the three formations supporting the vote of no confidence, "will not be noticeable if they do not behave as if they are in a permanent election campaign".

"They make these sudden moves, absolutely convinced that they will not pass, but they guarantee them 15 minutes of fame".

The political scientist also analyzes what is happening in the formation around Ahmed Dogan.

"They cannot objectify their own participation in the government and are trying to tell something with hollow phrases that for me is an absolute sham. They claim that they want to dismantle and hinder the so-called "Peevski" model, but they miss the fact that this model is the next phase of the "Dogan" model.

The rest of Dogan's party needs to find itself. This party has long ceased to resemble a party. There were metastases that had attached themselves to the solid core and exhausted the content of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. Right now they need to reinvent themselves".
"And at the same time "Mr. Peevski is taking advantage of these political convulsions and uncertainty and is simply playing day by day".
