Plamen Danailov: The stupidest thing is to go to elections now - 1

Going to elections now would be the stupidest decision that can be made, considering the strategic goals facing the state.

This was stated by the municipal councilor from the ITN in the SOS Plamen Danailov in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

According to him, the 418 million leva needed to increase pensions under the Swiss rule is not a problem that cannot be solved and the funds can be provided. He defined the initial separation of the ways of increasing pensions as an ill-considered decision.

"The revenue part will put pressure on the structures that must implement it. If they fail with the revenues, a correction in expenses will be necessary. The capital program has reserves, some projects will not be implemented and will remain for the next period. This will bring the desired budget balance with only a 3% deficit", commented Danailov.

The politician is categorical that it is not right for an ordinary police officer to receive a starting salary as much as a cashier in a food chain, in view of the risk he faces.

"Reformation, in addition to better remuneration, is also done through an ambitious capital program. The reform means investing funds, investing in equipment," said the guest.

On the air of Bulgaria ON AIR, he emphasized that Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone is a strategic goal that ITN supports: "Bulgaria plans to finance these deficits by taking on debt. If we are members of the Eurozone, the debt will be cheaper, this will give us a place in the investment intentions of all potential investors.".

Plamen Danailov expects that if a convergent report is requested, it will not be refused.

As an object of national security, there should be no doubts about what is happening at the nuclear power plant, said the municipal councilor.

Boris Bonev from "Save Sofia" warned that the deputy mayor for transport Iliyan Pavlov would be publicly arrested.

"This deputy mayor, perhaps under pressure from him, committed some not very lawful actions, independently decided on the new organization of traffic on "Patriarch" and "Vitoshka", to waive municipal fees, he has exceeded his powers several times," shared Danailov.
