Valentin Tonchev: Peevski is exerting pressure and trading influence through the country's budget - 1

The "Who" model continues to assert itself. We have strong doubts that Delyan Peevski is exerting pressure and trading influence through the country's budget.

This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by the MP from the PG of the MRF-DPS, Valentin Tonchev, deputy chairman of Ahmed Dogan's Movement for Rights and Freedoms.

"What we entered this governing majority for, in the first place, was the desire to dismantle the "Who" model, which is eating away at the Bulgarian state. But not only is it not being dismantled, but it continues to be established. ... We have strong doubts that Delyan Peevski is exerting pressure and trading influence through the country's budget. What has worried us in recent days is that we see a hidden majority forming in support of the budget, since the MRF-NN supported all the proposals at first reading in the committees. That is why we proposed that next week the parliament's agenda include a vote on an Temporary Committee to establish all the facts and circumstances about Peevski's role in Corpbank, Bulgartabac, influence in the judiciary and the prosecutor's office, adding also trading influence through the State Budget, because we have strong doubts that he is exerting pressure and trading influence through the country's budget. We expect the parties that signed the sanitary cordon to join in, because that is the commitment that we all made at the beginning of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet.

He emphasized that when the budget is voted on, it will become clear how stable the governing majority is.
Valentin Tonchev pointed out that the DPS-DPS learned from the media about the candidacy of Rosen Karadimov for chairman of the CPC, nominated by the BSP:

"No one came to present it to us and no one asked for our support. We will not give unsolicited support".

He again emphasized that the MRF-DPS had made proposals for deputy ministers to the SSU, but "the next day someone pressed the button and someone did not allow them to make these appointments a fact".
"Out of fear for "Magnitsky" and more sanctions for him and his entourage, Peevski betrayed the interests of Ukrainian citizens who are fighting for freedom and independence. He must immediately return the medal he received from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," Tonchev commented on the expressed support for Trump by the leader of the DPS-NN.

According to him, Peevski's rhetoric is very dangerous, because for his personal interests he is trying to change the entire state position regarding Russian aggression against Ukraine.

"Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov is trying and making efforts for Bulgaria to take its worthy position and participate in the negotiations for lasting peace in Ukraine," added the MP from the DPS-DPS.
