This was stated to NOVA by writer and psychiatrist Lyubomir Kanov in a comment on the Oval Office meeting that ended in a scandal between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine.
According to him, Volodymyr Zelensky wanted to give a lecture on how much people in Ukraine suffer, as if the American president did not know. “But on the other hand, Donald Trump had some, in his opinion, very clever plan with rare earth elements and how to use them“, the writer added.
“Zelensky did not manage to make the score 2:0, but he could have. The important thing that happened is that everyone revealed what kind of person he is. This meeting showed this and Europe will become more active“, noted journalist Konstantin Valkov.“
According to the journalist, Trump believes in two things - first, that the war should not be shown on television and the second is that there should be some kind of deal. “The proposal for rare earth elements, strange as it may seem, was profitable for Ukraine. Zelensky had to sign it. The deal only concerns future deposits“, he pointed out.
“The American president explained to the Ukrainian that he had no cards, and his very name - Trump means “trump“. So he symbolically says: “I have the cards, I am a goat“. The 47th head of state has this unbridled expression and the tendency when he speaks to do it extensively and leave the impression of scattered thought“, commented Kanov.
Konstantin Valkov was categorical that there will undoubtedly be a second conversation between the leaders.

According to Kanov, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov's opinion on the situation is the right course for Bulgaria.
