Ivan Chenchev: The “Borisov” model created the parallel state of addictions and fear

A fake parliament and a majority born of fraud are playing a staged game today. More and more people feel the injustice and see that there is another way, said one of the faces of “Rebellious Bulgaria”

Ivan Chenchev: The “Borisov” model created the parallel state of addictions and fear - 1

„The “Borisov” model allowed a state in which rules and laws are not applied or are applied (selectively), institutions that do not function or function (selectively), policies that do not care about Bulgarian citizens or do care (selectively). People see it – every Bulgarian citizen has felt the injustice. And has understood that for some it can – for others it does not“.

This was stated by Ivan Chenchev from “Rebellious Bulgaria” in the program “Outside the Template” on SKAT TV.

And when asked about Delyan Peevski's role, he added: “After governing five parliamentary parties in one way or another, after being in the government with proxy figures and at the same time pretending to be in opposition, outside the government – so, the “Borisov“ model has allowed this“.

In the conversation about the parallel state: “People came to power with the help of some money of dubious origin, and later the money united them. These people later became ministers, took up posts and positions in the state administration – posts on which the distribution of billions depends. They gave rise to dependencies and fear. First in GERB, then in other parties. That is how they created and govern the parallel state that Kornelia Ninova has been talking about for years. And against which he did not stop fighting“, pointed out Ivan Chenchev.

“Borisov is currently playing a game that he has played many times. At a time when the people, oppressed, living in difficulty, have given up watching and believing the circuses in the National Assembly. He needs such behavior of the late Volen Siderov on the part of Kostadin Kostadinov, because he goes to Europe and says: Do you see how good I am and how I keep the democratic and European balance in Bulgaria“, commented Ivan Chenchev.

And in response to a question, the long-time parliamentarian added: “I do not believe in the hypocrisy of this National Assembly – I have been there and I know how these certain people always play the same game when they are interested in it. To stand up for GERB and leave the hall, and invite the BSP and ITN to them? The truth is not there. A staged game“.

Asked about the BSP, Chenchev said: “I don't want to talk about the BSP, as they say - about the dead or good or nothing. But, in response to your question, I cannot help but emphasize: In this government, the BSP has a social minister. He said that they will raise the currently frozen maternity benefits next year, possibly if there is money. Can this be the position of a person from the social party BSP? Where is the cause? You are the social minister, right? What are you fighting for?“, he reacted.

And he added: “What is this - after some fake elections that the whole of Bulgaria saw, to propose the person who was responsible for e-government and these same elections as head of a state commission?“.

“I listened carefully to lawyers and experts: The Constitutional Court's decision says that the ballots will be counted. The CEC refused to do this and stated that there would be no recount of the ballots, but would only let the “Information Service“ recalculate the results. We are talking about a 47% discrepancy. This is monstrous. The euro will be introduced – who will decide it? The fake parliament and the majority born of fraud? Fraudsters put them in place, fraudsters vote inside. This is what the election protocols show or do not show“, pointed out Ivan Chenchev.

On the salaries of deputies and people's incomes: “There is no way to ignore it – during the Covid crisis, we gave up 4 salaries. Not that we are heroes. That's how we felt then – that's how we decided. Now, while they are freezing incomes and social support for people, deputies have raised their salaries. They reached 10,000 leva“, said the former MP in several parliaments, emphasizing:

“4 times Kornelia Ninova proposed freezing or reducing MP salaries, in view of the current crisis. This can be verified. They say – it was populism. Well, if it is not – why are the funds from the increase in MP salaries not redirected for maternity leave?“, he asked a question.

Chenchev was categorical: “There is another way. And we decided to call the party “rebellious“ precisely for this reason“, he said and gave a specific example: “Turn the budget towards the people! In every spectrum. This is how we will actually fight the demographic crisis. And not with selectively functioning or non-functioning laws, institutions and measures. Because today we can make great parks, but what if tomorrow there won't be mothers with children walking in them“.
