Two Bulgarians died in a serious accident in Spain  - 1

Four people, two of whom were Bulgarians, died in a head-on collision between two trucks at the 10th kilometer of the N-113 Pamplona-Madrid road, in the municipality of Fitero, the police reported.

Local media specify that the other two victims are Czechs. The drivers of the trucks involved in the accident and their deputies who accompanied them died. According to the police, the road was closed due to the collision, dariknews.bg reported.

The driver S.D.A., 47, and the second driver P. V.A., 41, were traveling in the truck towards Pamplona. Both were born in Bulgaria and live in Churiana de la Vega (Granada). The other vehicle, which was travelling towards Madrid, was driven by David A., 46, and was accompanied by the second driver, Marcela H., 47, both residents of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Local police are investigating the cause of the accident. The bodies of the four victims have been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Navarra.

The city council of Fitero expressed its regret over the incident and conveyed its condolences to the families of the four people who died in the accident, which occurred about five kilometres from the city centre, said Mayor Miguel Aguirre.
