Bulgarian citizens should avoid movement in the center of major cities in Greece tomorrow and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities, because new mass protests will be held, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) recommends on its website.
Greek trade union organizations are planning a demonstration in front of the National and Kapodistrian University in Athens, scheduled for 12:00 p.m. A significant number of attendees are expected. Streets and boulevards may be closed, which will block traffic in the central part of the capital and other cities in the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

New marches took place last night in Greece in memory of the 57 victims of the train accident at the Tempe Pass on February 28, 2023, ANA-MPA reports. Various trade union associations organized a large rally at “Syntagma“ Square in Athens under the slogan “The Tempe crime will not be covered up“, after yesterday four left and center-left parties led by the main opposition party PASOK submitted a motion for a vote of no confidence against the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis for “criminal incompetence“ that led to the tragedy, and for alleged attempts to cover up the causes. Also yesterday, parliament voted to establish a commission of inquiry to investigate the actions of the authorities at the scene of the disaster.
