Diana Damyanova: It is clear that DPS-DPS want Peevski removed from power at all costs - 1

Boyko Borisov knows how to speak the Bulgarian language and speak to Bulgarians. "I am very sad" is something that reaches the Bulgarian people. We are faced with a very funny reality, Borisov played them all by forming this government, with a clear awareness that it cannot be overthrown, because 121 votes are needed. This government will continue as long as the three in the coalition succeed.

This is what PR expert Diana Damyanova said in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

According to her, Ahmed Dogan's people are currently practically withdrawn.

"They want more than they are ready to give them, people will accept to support against what Borisov "sadly" decided to give them, or they will withdraw. There will be a minority government, and this diverse opposition in the country will not gather forces to overthrow them, because such forces cannot be formed without Peevski. I believe that Peevski's ideas, whatever they are, include entering the Eurozone, we have a year to see what will happen," Damyanova added on the air of Bulgaria ON AIR.

According to her, one of the "specialties" Borisov's job is to make others feel welcome, and to lull them politically.

"It is clear that the DPS-DPS now want more, they want Peevski removed from power at all costs. In this sense, they will either reconcile or withdraw. I don't think that everything that is happening in this country is happening because of Peevski. The stakes are whether there will be new regulators who will be pointed at with the finger of Peevski's people or there will be new regulators who will be pointed at with the finger of Peevski's people", the guest commented.

Damyanova believes that Ahmed Dogan has no interest in the cabinet falling.

"In Bulgaria, there is no political consensus in the opposition that would lead to the overthrow of the government. If we look at Dogan's deputies, we will see that these are the richest people. These people know how to make politics on the backs of a rather socially weak population. Globally, what they do doesn't matter at all, it matters to regulators," added Diana Damyanova.

Asked if we have a unified position on Ukraine, she replied: "There are outspoken people in Bulgaria supporting Trump who did not hide their beliefs. Trump rearranges the cards with terrible speed, it is difficult even for these people to predict his next move. The general mood in Europe is for peace. I was amazed to read that in Germany 49.8% want immediate peace and to stop aid to Ukraine.".

Damyanova emphasized that "a just peace" for Ukraine means losses of territories.
