„I saw that the rulers have done so over time that they have built a mafia system in the settlements. And when a person wants to develop, this mafia falls on top of him. He decides to seek assistance from the state and understands that it will hit him the last nail in the coffin“, said Mihaylov.
„I personally had a project for wind turbines, which was to be placed in a place where we had been developing business for 15 years. We were organizing a municipality, it improved. And because we had a conflict with the wind turbines, they fabricated everything – about pharaohs, a media attack, a state attack. They had even determined to arrest me in 2024“, said the leader of “Velichy“.
„I had accurate data that I would be arrested. I even spoke to some police officers and told them not to make a fuss and to tell me when to go. They told me this: „They said there should be fireworks. For this reason, make sure your family is away for a week. They come in, break everything. There is nothing we can do.“, said Ivelin Mihaylov.
According to him, this happens to every person who wants sustainable development, not to pay extortion.
„What we did was to give wide publicity to what was going to happen. We showed it exactly step by step how it would happen and that's why it didn't happen. We've done this three times already. This is called highlighting the action they want to take“, Mihaylov also said.
