Orlin Kolev elected constitutional judge  - 1

Orlin Kolev was elected constitutional judge with 127 votes "for", 104 "against" and two "abstains". He replaces Konstantin Penchev. Yonko Grozev's candidacy was supported by 38 deputies. 190 deputies voted against Grozev.

Kolev's candidacy, proposed by GERB-SDF, was also supported in the re-vote by GERB-SDF, „DPS-New Beginning“, „BSP-United Left“ and “There are such people“.

The re-vote was requested by the MP from “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria“ Bozhidar Bozhanov.

“You are not comfortable with the National Assembly depending on Peevski. This is not just a vote, this is a reformatting of the majority“, Bozhanov commented.

The MPs rejected the candidacy of Yonko Grozev, proposed by “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria“, with 38 votes “for“, 190 “against“ and 5 “abstains“.
