This was what Yucel Atilla from the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms told the Bulgarian National Radio.
"We supported the government in order to dismantle the "Peevski" model, but it turns out that it itself is in the hands of the one we want to dismantle. Illogically, we continue to support the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet and we are starting to lose trust. ... The members of our party are asking why we are still participating. Our participation in the coalition is unproductive and useless. We are in a losing position", he explained.
According to him, with the support for the government, the DPS-DPS has become a fig leaf for the ITN and BSP to enter a coalition with GERB.
"The leadership of our formation is to blame for the situation we have found ourselves in and it must bear responsibility. ".
According to him, there are attempts to misuse the name of the honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan.
Atilla announced that he is proposing a new National Conference of the APS, which would establish a new party, in which young and educated people, without addictions, could join, with which they could show the community that supports them that this is their future:
"We need to find our formula. We have the young and prepared cadres and they are ready to take over the baton".
The most valuable asset of the party is Ahmed Dogan, not the three letters MRF, he emphasized and added:
"Where he is, there is the truth. ... MRF will authentically continue with this new formula. Dogan is still thinking about my proposal and it seems to me that things are going in this direction. Our ideas for peace, freedom and democracy will be continued in their best form".
