Milen Keremedchiev: Europe will suffer the most from Trump's tariffs, the economy will be hit hard - 1

In recent years, Bulgaria has had a very inconsistent foreign policy, especially during the caretaker governments. The biggest problem is that Bulgaria cannot cope with the presentation of projects under the NDP. Europe gives money in exchange for reforms and Bulgaria is obliged to carry out the necessary reforms. The Ukrainian refugees are also being treated incorrectly. The continuation of the refugee program makes them sit and wait for social benefits, instead of starting to work, which would give them more freedom. Three years is a sufficient period for this program and I think that this should stop.

This was stated on the show "Denyat na zivo" on NOVA NEWS former Deputy Foreign Minister Milen Keremedchiev.

"Europe will suffer the most from Donald Trump's tariffs. For me, the European economy will be hit hard. Europe is facing the difficult situation of looking for new markets, which will not happen quickly and easily. We are currently facing rising prices for goods and a decline in sales. If Europe bends to these demands of Donald Trump, this will mean that the EU will have to change many of the high requirements regarding the quality of goods and food", he revealed.

"Russia is not budging a millimeter regarding the war in Ukraine. Trump may impose sanctions on Russia similar to those against Venezuela. This will certainly have an impact on Moscow and we will see how Putin will react. For me, we can rather talk about a ceasefire in Ukraine, rather than a long-lasting peace", concluded Milen Keremedchiev.
