Mehmed Dikme: The problem of the MRF is not Delyan Peevski, but Ahmed Dogan - 1

"The biggest problem of the MRF is not Delyan Peevski, but Ahmed Dogan!" This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by Mehmed Dikme, a former member of the MRF leadership and former Minister of Agriculture.

"How can he call Delyan Peevski a phenomenon and only two months later he becomes a curse. When was Dogan sincere? When he had interests with Peevski related to Phoenician signs, or later, when Peevski took the party away from him. Dogan betrayed the interests of the Turks in Bulgaria a long time ago. He had turned the MRF into a sole proprietorship and when he sold the shares to it, he cannot want to govern. Peevski is quite right to run his party," he specified.

According to him, MRF voters are despairing of Dogan's behavior.

"They do not approve of the behavior of Dogan and the clique around him. They blame Dogan personally for the split that has occurred. People want a united MRF again, one that will be strong and play an active role in political life. We are not talking about who will be the leader, everyone can take a step forward or backward, so that the party moves forward", the BNR interlocutor also said.

Mehmed Dikme announced that he will initiate meetings with both Delyan Peevski and Dzhevdet Chakarov to seek opportunities for unification.

"Let the young people be given a chance and with a strong MRF, which will have over 50 mandates, Dogan should forget that he can have any influence in the party anymore. I congratulate Peevski because he was the only one who could make the MRF start reforming," he added.

The former Minister of Agriculture in the cabinet of Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha pointed out that not Peevski, but Dogan was the main culprit for the ruin of "Bulgartabac".

"Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski also have their share of blame for the ruin of "Bulgartabac".

There are two paths for the APS (the MRF around Dogan), Dikme expressed his opinion.

"The first is for Peevski to absorb them and not be in the next parliament. The second - to seek unification into a strong MRF, but this is after those who will make a decision today withdraw. The good for the MRF is yet to come and it will be realized," he said.
